Keymap Editor Dec'24 Compilation Error

Note on Keymap Compilation Issue

Due to recent updates in the Keymap Editor related to the ZMK mousekey, you may encounter a compilation error. To resolve this, please remove the line #include <dt-bindings/zmk/pointing.h> from config/keyballxx.keymap after you saved in the Keymap Editor.

After you Save the keymap in Keymap Editor

Go back to your own repo, make sure you choose the correct Branches (oled choose main, niceview or clone choose niceview). Then go to /config/keyballxx.keymap

Click the pen button to edit your code, delete the line #include <dt-bindings/zmk/pointing.h>.

After you deleted the line mentioned, Commit Changes.

This is not a one-time action; you need to repeat it every time you update your keymap in the Keymap Editor.

We usually use PLA with a 10-20% infill. Consider using Nylon for a better experience.

Low Profile Switch Plate

Replace the original 10mm MX screw with a 6mm M2 screw for the low-profile build.

1. 2.2mm 3D switch plate
2. 2.2mm 3D switch plate for thumb only
3. M2 screw 6mm length

Holder

For successful installation, use a 3mm bearing ball. If the fit is too loose, apply a suitable glue to secure it. If the ball fits directly without glue, your print is perfect. Note that the trackball sensor is very sensitive and may require some trial and error to function correctly
